WHAT'S RIGHT WITH EDUCATION? PLENTY!
This presentation will offer an inspirational, humorous tribute to those educators who have dedicated themselves to helping young people learn.

These are not easy times for educators. The basic tenet of education is that each child has a right to a free education that addresses the child's unique needs. This ambitious goal has inherent rewards but it also has the potential to create high stress. Attacking education has become a favorite pastime, conflict is inevitable and never-ending calls for reform often result in discouragement.

Although it is important to evaluate the present educational system in terms of statistics and numbers, it is equally important to remember that successes with the individual child are often not reflected in those numbers. This presentation will be a humorous and motivational celebration of today's educational system which recognizes the wonderful diversity of children and staff alike.

It has been a decade since Tamara was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The diagnosis was a shock for a "Type A" dynamo who falsely believed she was in control of any and all of life's challenges. Over the past ten years, Tamara has learned first-hand how to achieve true success and balance life. This humorous, inspirational keynote is a perfect match for those facing medical challenges.



Wise Words from A Simple Life: The Challenges and Rewards of Raising a Special Child

Like all mothers, Tamara had high expectations for parenthood: Her child would be strong and bright and perfect. But God had other plans. Tamara's first child, Tera, was born with medical challenges and cognitive disabilities. Nothing came easy for Tera or her parents and yet together, they learned from each other.
