Life Changing Inspiring Humorous Entertaining...Education KeynotesClient Praise"Your presentation to the staff in Olathe exceeded my expectations. I have heard nothing but positive comments from all in attendance at our convocation. Generally, it is difficult to address an audience of over 3000, but you did so with enthusiasm, humor, and compassion. I know our entire staff would be very excited to have you back in another year. WHAT'S RIGHT WITH EDUCATION? PLENTY! These are not easy times for educators. The basic tenet of education is that each child has a right to a free education that addresses the child's unique needs. This ambitious goal has inherent rewards but it also has the potential to create high stress. Attacking education has become a favorite pastime, conflict is inevitable and never-ending calls for reform often result in discouragement. Although it is important to evaluate the present educational system in terms of statistics and numbers, it is equally important to remember that successes with the individual child are often not reflected in those numbers. This presentation will be a humorous and motivational celebration of today's educational system which recognizes the wonderful diversity of children and staff alike. "I haven't been able to get anything done since your speech of Tuesday morning. There are so many calls, e-mails and personal notes about "that wonderful speaker." And it's hard to walk down the hall because I get stopped by people who want to talk about your impact on them. It's absolutely a great way to start a school year, and I thank you sincerely for sharing your experiences, your travails, your good spirit and your humor. You have made a lasting impact of the people who work in the Roanoke County Virginia Schools." LEAD THE PARADE OR GET TRAMPLED: Handling No Child Left Behind Accountability and student assessment are not passing fads. They are a reality. Educators, administrators and school board members can chose to lead the reform or stand on the sidelines wondering what happened. This humorous, motivational and practical presentation will inspire you to take charge of change in your schools and community. Tamara addresses the challenges and solutions of educating a constantly changing population. "Thank you for the electrifying keynote speech you presented at the Florida School Board Association/Florida Administrators Association Annual Spring Training Conference. The theme of the presentation was very uplifting for school board members and school district personnel who are currently struggling to meet the numerous legislative, community and business demands on education. I appreciate your conscientiousness, advanced preparation, engaging message and the follow-up of the conference." EDUCATION ONLY WORKS IF WE WORK TOGETHER: Involving Parents In The Education Of Students BE YOURSELF: BE YOUR BEST: Leadership skills for students I Have M.S. But It Doesn't Have Me: It has been a decade since Tamara was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The diagnosis was a shock for a "Type A" dynamo who falsely believed she was in control of any and all of life's challenges. Over the past ten years, Tamara has learned first-hand how to achieve true success and balance life. This humorous, inspirational keynote is a perfect match for those facing medical challenges. Wise Words from A Simple Life: The Challenges and Rewards of Raising a Special Child Like all mothers, Tamara had high expectations for parenthood: Her child would be strong and bright and perfect. But God had other plans. Tamara's first child, Tera, was born with medical challenges and cognitive disabilities. Nothing came easy for Tera or her parents and yet together, they learned from each other. Tamara's motivational, humorous stories reveal the valuable lessons she has learned from her very special daughter. |
