IF WE SHARE THE VISION, WHY DO WE ARGUE?
Practical skills for mastering conflict between educators, administrators, students and parents.
Conflict in education is inevitable, but it does not have to be negative. Participants will fill out a conflict inventory that will reveal their reactions to friction. They will discover that there are several ways to handle conflict and will understand which style is most appropriate at a given time. They will further realize that conflict styles are learned behaviors that can be changed once the person understands the aspects of each style. Throughout the workshop there will be short activities that illustrate the points being made. There will also be an abundance of appropriate laughter. Tamara's humor and humanity help the audience re-discover their priorities.

"Tamara's topic, "If We Share The Vision-Why Do We Argue" was timely and appropriate for our audience. I was personally impressed with her knowledge of the current issues that are facing education and with her commitment to embracing diversity in our schools and her strong support for Pubic education." -CESA # 11, Wisconsin

TEAMWORK WORKS FOR EVERYONE: Building an effective educational team
The basic tenet of education is that each child has a right to a free education that addresses the child's unique needs. This ambitious goal has inherent rewards but it also has the potential to create high stress, conflict and never-ending calls for reform. This humorous, activity driven workshop will encourage educators, support staff and administrators to work together in order to lessen stress and accomplish more.
